Service is the basis of building a stronger, more engaged community for everyone; this concept is still at the heart of Ferris State University 135 years after its founding. The spirit of service not only is evident in the activities of our faculty, staff and students, but also in the activities and successes of our alumni.
Your Alumni Association is building a growing network of alumni called the “Bulldog Ambassadors” to bring Ferris grads together, wherever they may be, to celebrate alumni success and help support the university as it moves forward. Bulldog Ambassadors are active on social media, interested in planning events for local alumni and willing to share their knowledge to help prospective students learn more about Ferris.
More than a dozen Bulldog Ambassadors nationwide, from Arizona to Virginia, have joined this great program, but we are looking for many more. In fact, several new Dallas, Texas-based ambassadors came forward as we rallied in that area to support the Ferris Football team’s run to the national championship game. A quick look at the Line Up on page 26 shows what an exceptionally fun and active year 2019 is shaping up to be for our Alumni Association, with numerous opportunities for alumni to connect with one another and our alma mater.
